The year that was 2021 seemed to be a giant step towards some sense of normalcy after a year of adapting to new ways to safely work, communicate, and live with one another. Some of those ways have started to become the “new norm” including implementing a more robust online or digital presence to safely communication and interaction with staff and customers remotely, changing the way we do business.
While we’ve implemented some of those changes and enhancements to adapt to the new business and world landscape (including expanding our training center and online training/demo capabilities), what hasn’t changed is our commitment to providing our #LPIfamily with a high level of customer support and training to go along with our industry-best LT-2D3D Laser Templator system. We strive to provide digital fabrication solutions to make your job easier and business more profitable.
That is the premise of what LPI was founded on more than 27 years ago by Dan Louis — helping people out by making their jobs easier, understanding how cumbersome it was to measure countertops, cabinets, and rooms in general, as well as providing job opportunities for the American worker and their families.
“I was fortunate enough to have the resources to engineer a few solutions that people liked and were beneficial for their business,” said Louis. “I’ve always said the company exists for the benefit of the people, meaning not only our customers, but also our employees, many of whom have been with the company for more than 10 years. I wanted a place where hardworking Americans could have a good career and support their families.”
Today, the LT-2D3D continues to be the market leader in digital templating systems with more than 3,000 customers worldwide, including 13 of the last 16 Stone World Fabricators of the Year (CLICK HERE to vote for the 2021 Fabricator of the Year). LPI has also been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the 5,000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America in 2017 and 2018. Also in 2018, Louis was recognized as an influential figure in the industry when he was inducted into the National Kitchen and Bath Association Hall of Fame.
An amazing accomplishment by Louis over nearly three decades, and he has helped lay the groundwork for its continued success in 2022 and beyond, ahead of his retirement in first quarter 2022. LPI has several exciting things on the horizon in 2022 and beyond that continue to build upon what Louis has established, all focused around adding value for our customers and improving their operations through enhanced technology, ease of use, productivity, and management. As LPI enters this new chapter, the foundation remains the same — LPI will continue to be a people company.
“Just as important as all the success we have had over the past 25 years and looking at all the new things we have on the horizon, is the people inside and outside the company. I just want people to be happy and enjoy life.”
